NOTICE OF QUOTATION INVITATION FOR CONSULTANCY AND TECHNICAL DESIGN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO NEW 128-TEU BARGES

To: Shipbuilding consultancy, design, and technical units

Pursuant to the approval of the investment policy for the expansion of the inland waterway transport barge fleet by the Board of Directors of Vinafco Shipping Joint Stock Company;

Pursuant to the implementation plan for the construction of two new 128-TEU container barges;

Vinafco Shipping Joint Stock Company respectfully invites capable and experienced units to participate in the competitive quotation with the following details:

1. General Information

- Package name: Consultancy and technical design for the construction of two 128-TEU container barges.

- Contractor selection method: Competitive quotation.

- Location of performance: Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City or as proposed by the bidder.

- Execution time: 45 working days from the signing date of the contract and receipt of advance payment.

2. Scope of Work

The consultancy and design unit shall perform the full technical design for constructing the 128-TEU container barges, including but not limited to:

- Preparing the technical design for submission to the Vietnam Register (VR) for appraisal;

- Design documents including: General arrangement, lines plan, cross-sections, basic structural arrangements, engine room layout, propeller shaft line;

- Stability, strength, and operability calculation reports;

- Supporting revisions and finalization of documents as required by the Register and the investor;

- Delivering the approved design dossier together with the Design Certificate issued by the Vietnam Register.

3. Key Reference Technical Specifications

- Dimensions: 72.65 m (Lmax) × 13.50 m (Bmax) × 4.70 m (D)

- Deadweight: 2,585 tons or capacity for 128 fully-loaded 20-ft containers

- Material: Shipbuilding steel

- Main engines: 2 × 540 HP (WEICHAI or equivalent)

- Operation area: VR-SI; VR-SII

- Quantity: 02 vessels

4. Quotation Documents

Quotation documents shall include:

- Detailed quotation, specifying:

- Unit price per vessel, total value, VAT (if applicable);

- Schedule and payment method;

Execution time and validity of the quotation.

Capability profile (at minimum: business registration, experience in designing VR-SI/VR-SII vessels, similar projects).

Execution schedule and commitment to technical quality in accordance with current Register standards.
